Refund Policy

Singapore Customers

A partial refund (cost of plant(s) only) or replacement of plant (subject to availability) can be claimed if:

  • a plant is received significantly damaged (stem breakage, major leaf damage of more than 30% of foliage)
  • a plant quickly and significantly deteriorates in health either by disease or pests, within 2 days of receipt   

In either scenario, please contact us immediately with a photo of the plant(s) for which you are seeking a refund or replacement. The refund window is 2 days inclusive from the date of order receipt. Refunds cannot be claimed after this period, and without photographic proof.

International Customers

A partial refund (cost of plant(s) only) will be issued by Black Toe Tropicals to the buyer if:

  • a plant is received dead on-arrival (DOA)
  • a plant is received in poor condition, defined as stem or crown rot, or  fungus/mold/bacteria covering more than 50% of plant

In either scenario, please contact us immediately with a photo of the plant(s) for which you are seeking a refund. The refund window is 5 days inclusive  from the date of order receipt. Refunds cannot be claimed after this period, and without photographic proof.

A full refund (total order value, excluding any duties and taxes) will be issued for:

  • Orders lost in transit
  • Cancellation of order within 24 hours

Refunds cannot be issued for shipment-induced stresses resulting in minor physical damage (for example, leaf melting in Begonia or pitcher necrosis in Nepenthes).
